Chlum u Třeboně

Important recreational centre near the Czech - Austrian border (recreational fish pond Hejtman). Chateau from 1719, owned before the First World War by Franz Ferdinand d´Este, who set from here on the fateful journey to Sarajevo. In the vicinity of the castle is a large park. Pilgrimage church of Ascension forms an important landscape dominant.

Fish pond Vizír

National nature memorial, protecting the fish pond ecosystem. Habitat of many endangered species. Important population of carnivorous Oblong-leafed Sundew.

Fish pond Podsedek

Fish pond, part of Chlum network of fish ponds. On the dam one of the oldest oak alleys in the Třeboň region. The nearby fish pond Staré jezero (Old lake) declared Nature reserve with bog and breeding place for water birds.

Lutová

Village historical monument, mentioned already in 1349. Gothic Church of All Saints from the second half of the 14th century (rebuilt in 1615 and 1875) forms important landscape dominant. From the church there is a view on large part of South Bohemian fish pond basins.
