The Schwarzenberger Hospital of the nobility was found on the 2nd of September 1676 by Jan Adolf von Schwarzenberg.
The hospital was built for retired employees of the Schwarzenberger family, who spent here the rest of their lives. The inmates wore dresses in the colours of the Schwarzenberg Family, i.e. white and blue. They received regular rent. As a hospital was this building used to the 30’s of the twentieth century. That time gave Jan Adolf von Schwarzenbeg the hospital to the town Lišov. The tripple – wing building with the Schwarzenberger coat of arms is the only one still existing infirmary in the South Bohemia. Inside you can find a Museum of F. M. Čapek with the exposition of the traditional crafts, the Gallery of J. R. Schuster, a library and an information centre.
